I hate it when this happens

I Just finished putting new shingles on my our house. I am feeling like Forrest Gump when he says " I saw the president Again". I will tell you why last year I put cement board siding on our Garage and got all the way to the last piece and smashed my finger on my left hand with the hammer. It healed well job done well good deal. Fast forward to early October I have 40 bundles of shingles to put on. Work my way up and around on the roof about 13 squares . Putting on the hip and ridge shingles to Finish the job on the last nail I hit the one Nail I didnt want to the very same one I NAILED before. Job is DONE . I have about 30 years to wait to put shingles on the house. But the Garage is going to need them sooner and next time I am going to be very careful!

Old Days

Have you ever notice how sometimes a picture can take you back. My cousin sent a pic of us in a cart behind a John Deere 112 in about 1967. I have this cart and a John Deere Tractor and have Given Rides to my Nieces and Nephews. I also have the 112 tractor in the pic also. Seems like just yesterday!

Its Been a long Time

I am still around. I just got done spending the week of the Sandwich Fair Sawing logs and showing engines with my Dad. My voice has finaly come back. I have 1 more show I want to go to this year it is only a few miles north of where I live. They feed you and we have fun. Its at the Jonomac Orchard near Malta Illinois the 6th and 7th of October. I will probably go on Saturday only as October, Dawn and I are the Deacons at Church. I still have some projects to get done before snow.

1 I like old stuff (antique engines,tractors,etc)

2 somedays I play in poo some days I dont !

3 I have a 24 x24 Garage and the vehicles we drive sit in the drive !

4 I dont really like SNOW anymore !

5 I dont like Pumpkin pie,Squash,Rice Pudding, (I think it is the texture)

6 I wear longjohns from Thanksgiving to Easter (see #4)
